Brandon Younger is still new to the Charlotte 49ers basketball program, but he is already making waves on the court for the 49ers.
The freshman ranks among the team leaders in blocks, rebounds and free throw percentage. He tallied a career-high 16 points at FIU and snagged seven boards against Southern Miss. Younger's athleticism comes from watching his older brother play growing up. Having that inspiration helped develop a competitive attitude within Younger.
After a successful high school campaign, the Georgia native found a home in Charlotte as one of new head coach Ron Sanchez's first recruits.
