UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Powered by an eight-run, eight-hit attack in the bottom of the seventh, the Charlotte 49ers baseball team downed the Georgia Bulldogs 10-5 at BB&T BallPark in Uptown Charlotte on Tuesday night.
“Tonight was a great team effort,” started Head Coach Loren Hibbs. “We played really well, we had a lot of good at-bats and I’m really proud of our guys for putting an eight-spot up in the seventh. We played pretty good defense and did a lot of positive things, it was just a good night all the way around.
