CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fresh off a 14-run, 18-hit attack to clinch the Coppin State series on Sunday, the Charlotte baseball program will now take on #2 NC State in the first of two games at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Tuesday night. Tuesday's game will marked the highest-ranked opponent for the Niners since April of 2007.
Charlotte (8-7) scored in six of their eight trips to the plate and scored at-least two runs in five of those six. Dominick Cammarata, Carson Johnson and Drew Ober each recorded three-hit afternoons to lead the onslaught.
