CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte's offense exploded in a 20-4 romp over visiting William & Mary to complete the three-game sweep and keep the 49ers perfect on the season.
Charlotte scored 20 runs for the first time since 2016 and banged out 21 hits, including five home runs. Craig Keuchel, Will Butcher, Jack Dragum, Hunter Baker and David McCabe all homered for the Niners, who rank among the nation's leaders with 18 roundtrippers, this season.
In all, 13 different players had hits and nine different players drove in runs to support Matt Brooks, who was making his first start since March 2, 2019.
