CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wake Forest got off to another fast start on Charlotte en route to a 18-5 victory on Tuesday night. The Demon Deacons used a seven-run fourth and four home runs on the night to sweep the season series.
"Wake is playing at a really high level right now," started Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We just made it too easy for them. Until we get our pitching and defensive situations corrected it's going to be a struggle. We certainly didn't play at the level we needed to tonight."
