MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. – Charlotte baseball trailed host UAB 4-0 and had just one hit at the end of seven innings on Friday night. But, two in the eighth and three in the ninth thanks to six hits allowed the Niners to knock off the Blazers 5-4.
"We didn't make any adjustments over the first seven innings tonight, but found a way there over the final two innings," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We were able to make those adjustments in the eighth and ninth and it paid off. The DNA of our program has always been to keep grinding and never give up and we did that tonight.
