CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Heading into Wednesday night's non-conference game at #6 N.C. State, the Charlotte 49ers entered with the #1 strength of schedule and #5 RPI in all of college baseball. Thanks to a two-run homer by Zach Jarrett and two-run double by Zack Smith, the Niners knocked off the Wolfpack 6-5 in Raleigh marking the best win against a top-ten opponent since the 2011 home win over North Carolina.
