CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will return home on Tuesday night to begin a four-game homestand starting with UNC Asheville. Tuesday mark the second-to-last four-game homestand of the year that also features Old Dominion for a critical Conference USA series this weekend.
Charlotte (19-26) comes back home after taking their third victory of the season against top-25 opponents defeating #15 Rice 1-0 in game two of a Friday doubleheader. T.J. Nichting provided the offense in that nightcap victory with a solo home run in the top of the fourth while Colton Laws and Holden Capps combined on a five-hit shutout against the Owls.
