CHARLOTTE, N.C. –The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will open up the team phase of practice in preparation for the 2016 season on Friday afternoon beginning at 12:30 p.m. Friday marks the first full fledge practice on the new synthetic turf infield installed two months ago. All practices are open to the public and are free of charge.
“It’s going to be good to get everybody out here all together,” remarked Hibbs. “The weather is supposed to be really good and we need to get a lot of work done. We’ve got a better group of guys this go around than we’ve had for a couple of years in terms of our talent level, it’s a little bit better.
