CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the third-consecutive weekend, the Charlotte baseball team will be forced to play another doubleheader as rain washed out Friday's 3:00 p.m. series-opener with Kent State. Both teams will play a seven-inning game one starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday followed by a nine-inning game two.
With the rain out on Friday, the 49ers will next attempt a Friday game on April 15th at Old Dominion to open up Conference USA play. Next weekend, a Saturday doubleheader with Coppin State was already scheduled.
Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for any home game at Hayes Stadium including Saturday's doubleheader.
