IRVING, Texas – Conference USA, continually one of the best division one baseball conference's in the country, has announced its 2017 preseason baseball awards and preseason poll as chosen by the league's 12 head coaches. The 49ers continued their climb up the preseason poll picked 6th heading into February while Brett Netzer, Logan Sherer and T.J. Nichting were all picked to C-USA's all-conference team.
"We are excited to get the season going and see how we match up against elite level programs," remarked Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We are in a great league and it is a positive thing when other head coaches recognize the progress we are making with our program.
