CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team begins their 56-game schedule on Friday afternoon hosting William & Mary to open up a three-game weekend series at Robert and Mariam Hayes Stadium. The season-opener Friday will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the other pair of games Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
“I’m excited,” remarked Head Coach Loren Hibbs. “I’ve been doing this for a long time and I’m still excited. We’ve been really focused on what we need to do to be successful, but we’re playing a very formidable opponent this weekend and the weather looks great.
