MIAMI, Fla. – Charlotte baseball scored 11 runs over the first five innings and held on during the back half to pick up an 11-8 series-opening victory at FIU on Friday night. The Niners pick up their fifth-straight win, move to 8-1 in Conference USA play and move to 3-0 in C-USA Friday nights.
