CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball will welcome The Citadel for a non-conference baseball matchup on Tuesday night in Hayes Stadium. It will mark the first meeting between the two since 2014 and the first trip to Charlotte by the Bulldogs since 2005.
Charlotte (17-24) begins the midweek after a 5-0 shutout of Marshall as starter Josh Maciejewski shut down the Herd with his complete game, one-hit effort. Brett Netzer provided most of the offense delivering a three-run bomb to right in the fifth and drove in another late run for a career-high four RBI.
