CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball gets back into Conference USA play hosting the league’s co-leader Southern Miss this weekend at Hayes Stadium. The 49ers are off to their best start in league play since 2013 and will look for revenge after the Golden Eagles swept last season’s series in Hattiesburg. Friday's series-opener will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by Saturday and Sunday contests at 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Charlotte (12-13, 3-3 C-USA) opens up the weekend looking to turn things around after dropping four of their last five overall and two-of-three last weekend at Louisiana Tech.
