CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team returns home for a brief appearance vs. North Carolina A&T on Wednesday before heading to Middle Tennessee for a three-game Conference USA series this weekend. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hayes Stadium.
"We beat a good Winthrop team on Tuesday," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We had a lighter practice at FAU on Thursday and played really well on Friday. We had just a great effort on Sunday beating the 12th-ranked team twice on the road."
Charlotte (15-18, 5-7 C-USA) is coming off of one of the biggest series wins in program history taking two-of-three from #12 Florida Atlantic on the road this past weekend.
