CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball makes their first trip to Arkansas this weekend taking on the 15th-ranked Razorbacks on Tuesday and Wednesday inside Baum Stadium. The two midweek contests will mark the return trip for the Niners after topping Arkansas 6-3 last year at Hayes Stadium.
Charlotte (6-5) comes into the new week after taking two-of-three from Kent State over the weekend. Matt Brooks (3-0) helped the Niners to a 1-0 victory in Saturday's doubleheader opener against the Golden Flashes tossing 6.2 innings allowing four hits with six strikeouts. Josh Haney drove in the only run needed in the second as Charlotte held on.
