CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UAB batted around in each of the first three innings and held off Charlotte late claiming an 18-10 victory in Conference USA action Friday night. For the third-straight week, Charlotte will now be faced with a rubber game in the finale after securing the series-opener.
"Tonight was not enough of a good performance," remarked Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We have more issues that we need to address with our players and we need to make more adjustments to be more consistent. That's hard to do against the competition we're playing, but were continuing to take two steps forward and one step back.
