CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball spanked out 10 runs in the first inning Sunday afternoon to take the final game of the Conference USA series 11-5 over Florida Atlantic at Hayes Stadium. The Niners batted around in their 10-run first without surrendering an out to get the Sunday afternoon underway.
"I'm proud of our guys for making the adjustments," started Head Coach Loren Hibbs. "We had the tough loss on Friday and competed better today. It was a really good win. The offensive is getting better. We just need to get a few more guys hot and keep grinding.
