BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Host Gardner-Webb used three home runs on Tuesday night to help double up visiting Charlotte 8-4 in non-conference baseball action accounting for four of the eight Bulldog runs.
“Again, we made it way too easy for the opponent to score,” began Head Coach Loren Hibbs. “We have to make some more adjustments, we have some guys who need to listen a little more and we need to get better in the next two days of practice.”
Gardner-Webb (26-14) got on the board early after a first pitch single to right by Taylor Fisher followed by a two-run homer to left-center off the bat of Justin Kunz.
