CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The first true road trip of the season for the Charlotte 49ers baseball team begins on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to North Carolina A&T in Greensboro. Charlotte is coming off a 3-1 week, which included a road win at #6 N.C. State, and taking two-of-three in a weekend series over Xavier.
Charlotte (9-3) took the series over the Musketeers thanks to a .317 team batting average and an even 3.00 staff ERA. Colton Laws got the 49ers off to a solid start on Friday with seven innings of four-hit ball fanning a career high eight.
