CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will play 55 games, 32 at home and 30 in Conference USA as Head Coach Loren Hibbs announced the 2017 schedule on Wednesday morning. The spring slate is by far the toughest the 49ers have put together in the history of Charlotte baseball. The Niners will face seven NCAA Regional opponents this season which accounts for nearly half of their games.
"Top to bottom, this is the most difficult schedule in the history of our program," began Hibbs. "We will have the opportunity to compete against several great programs from outstanding conferences prior to and during our C-USA schedule.
