Dallas, Texas – Charlotte 49ers men's basketball forward Amidou Bamba has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic team.
Bamba owns a 4.0 GPA in his Masters of Business Administration program. Last fall, he earned a Conference USA Academic Medal and was named to the Conference USA Honor Roll. This semester, he is also doing an internship in financial planning with Northwestern Mutual. Two weeks ago, Bamba was named first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District Three which will land him on the CoSIDA Academic all-America ballot. Last season, Bamba was named third-team CoSIDA Academic All-America.
