Charlotte, N.C. – Charlotte 49ers men's basketball forward Amidou Bamba was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 First-Team on Thursday afternoon. District 3 covers North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
The Academic All-District Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
ACADEMIC HONORS
Bamba, who is a graduate transfer from Coastal Carolina, has a 4.0 GPA in his Masters of Business Administration program. This semester, he is also doing an internship in financial planning with Northwestern Mutual.
