“It is really just an honor to be here, and I want to play football as long as possible,” said Chris Reynolds, the starting quarterback for the 49ers.
Reynolds has been playing football since he was in the third grade, shortly after he decided that soccer wasn’t for him. While being a four-year letter winner in baseball and football at Davie High School, Reynolds chose the path of football. Coming from a family of seven, Reynolds and his sister Amanda (East Carolina Women’s Soccer) both went on to play division one sports. Reynolds did not have a lot of offers close to or far from home.
