Charlotte, NC – The fifth-ranked Charlotte 49ers (8-0-3, C-USA: 3-0-2) recorded their fifth shutout of the season as the 49ers tied 30-ranked Marshall (8-1-2, C-USA: 3-0-1), 0-0, in double overtime at Transamerica Field. The 49ers remain undefeated on the season marking the second time in school history that the 49ers are undefeated after 11 games. Charlotte began the 1991 season, 13-0-3.
SCORING CHANCES
The 49ers had several good scoring chances in the game. In the third minute, Charlotte's shot went just wide of the goal. In the 55 minute, Charlotte's shot was stopped Marshall's goalkeeper Paulo Pita.
