The Charlotte 49ers have three players competing in this week's 95th Annual East-West Shrine Bowl, which will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 in St. Petersburg, Fla. NFL Network will televise the event. The East-West Shrine Bowl is the longest running college all-star football game in the nation and gives top college players a chance to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience.
Offensive lineman Cameron Clark, defensive end Alex Highsmith and running back Benny LeMay, who all completed their senior seasons at the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl in December, will take part in the game and the week-long activities.
