CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers track and field team had a strong showing on the first day of the Charlotte Invitational after totaling 28 personal records and claiming seven event wins, six second-place finishes and eight third-place outings.
MEN'S RESULTS
Hunter White posted his second personal record in two straight weeks in the 3000m steeplechase, good enough for a seventh all-time ranking in school history, with a second-place finish of 9:10.36. Avery Cannon claimed the event title in the 5000m after posting a personal record time of 14:24.
