Charlotte, N.C. - At the Charlotte 49ers final home football game of 2016 against Middle Tennessee on Saturday, November 19th, Harris Teeter donated 10 Thanksgiving Meals to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina for each Charlotte touchdown scored. With the 49ers offense producing four touchdowns, Harris Teeter donated a total of 40 meals. Each meal contained enough food to feed a family of four. These meals helped complete the holiday for families who may have gone without a Thanksgiving meal.
"We are very pleased to have partnered with Charlotte IMG Sports Marketing, the Charlotte 49ers and Second Harvest to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 40 families throughout the Charlotte area who might not otherwise have been able to enjoy one," said Danna Robinson, communication manager for Harris Teeter.
