CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Almost a month since their last event, the Charlotte 49ers men's and women's cross country programs are looking forward to their next challenge. The Forty-Niners will be running as a split squad on Friday, Sept. 28, competing in the Nuttycombe Invitational at Wisconsin and the Queen City Invite in Charlotte.
Hurricane Florence made its impact in both North and South Carolina, which put a damper on the second event the Niners were expected to contend in, the NC State Adidas Challenge. Though with the added bye weeks, head coach Joseph Lynn has been able to keep his teams focused on their training and working towards their events this upcoming weekend.
