WINSTON–SALEM, N.C. – On Sunday, a few members of the Charlotte men's and women's track and field program competed in the JDL January College Kick-Off from the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Senior Elizabeth Olesen, sophomore Maci Bunting and senior Tayler Parcells partook in the women's high jump, with Olesen (1.61m | 5' 3.25") earning the win. Bunting jumped to a second-place finish, while Parcells finished fourth overall.
In the men's pole vault, junior Justin Hollis earned the bronze finish with a vault of 4.30m (14' 1.25").
The Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs will be back in action next weekend, Friday and Saturday, January 18-19.
