CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers softball team travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., for a midweek game against the North Carolina Tar Heels on Tuesday, April 6 at 5 p.m. The two teams last faced off on March 5, 2019, and the 49ers last beat the Tar Heels on April 2, 2014 with a 4-3 victory.
The 49ers had a two-week pause due to COVID-19 protocols, but came back strong against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, winning three of four games this past weekend. Charlotte leads the East Division in the conference and joins Louisiana Tech as one of two teams to have three conference wins.
