Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers, who are in their third season under head coach Jeremy Feldman, hit the road this weekend to face SEC foes 19th-ranked Tennessee and 22nd-ranked Alabama. The 49ers play 19th-ranked Tennessee in a doubleheader on Saturday, January 19. The first match is at 10 a.m. The doubleheader ends with a 3 p.m. match. Then, Charlotte plays 22nd-ranked Alabama on the road, Monday, January 21 at 2 p.m.
Last Saturday, the 49ers began the season with 6-1 wins over Presbyterian and Winthrop at Lifetime Fitness in Charlotte. With the win over Presbyterian, the 49ers have now won nine consecutive home openers.
