On December 5, 2018, the Will Healy era officially began for Charlotte 49er football. Since his hire, Healy has celebrated his 34th birthday and welcomed his second son, Wynn to join 4-year old Eli and wife Emily. Considering that the Charlotte football program is entering its 7th season, Healy seems to have come straight out of central-casting.
On the list of hundreds of things that come with taking over a football program, actually high on the list for Healy and Director of Athletics Mike Hill, is energizing the fan base and getting them to make a serious commitment to support the program.
