Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte 49ers head men's basketball coach Ron Sanchez announced the signing of Isaiah Folkes, a 6-foot-4 guard from Gainesville, Virginia, who plays for Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut.
"We are thrilled about Isaiah joining our program," Sanchez said. "It's been great to build relationships with him and his family over the past year. Isaiah is the consummate teammate. He has a high basketball IQ, a good skill set, tremendous work ethic, and a strong will and athleticism that will ease his transition to college. He is a playmaking lead guard with tremendous defensive potential.
