Wilmington, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers (6-3) lost to Yale (11-4), 4-0, in the Battle at the Beach Tournament in Wilmington, North Carolina.
“Today was a tough match,” Charlotte coach Jesse Tarr said. “Even though we lost the doubles point, we were pleased with how all three of our teams played.”
Yale won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. At number one doubles, Charlotte’s Vikram Hundal and Jordi Massalle Ferrer tallied their 14th victory of the season with a 6-4 win over Yale’s Fedor Andrienko and Stefan Doehler.
