Charlotte, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers (14-9, C-USA: 8-4) tied the school record with their 12th win in Halton Arena with a 91-84 victory over the UTSA Roadrunners (11-14, C-USA: 5-7). The 49ers improved to 12-1 in Halton Arena with their ninth straight home win.
The 49ers shot 51.9 percent (27 of 52) from the field while connecting on a season-high-tying 11 three-point field goals. Charlotte's 91 points marked the most points scored by the 49ers under Coach Ron Sanchez. Charlotte finished the game with a season-high 20 assists.
Jordan Shepherd led the 49ers with 26 points, including going 5-for-7 from three-point range.
