49ers Drop 7-1 Decision in Front of 7,438 Fans Uptown

UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball never got into a rhythm on Tuesday night falling 7-1 to #17 N.C. State in front of 7,438 fans at BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte. The 49ers were held hitless through the first four innings and only managed five hits in the loss.

“We never got in a rhythm from the first pitch of the game,” stated Head Coach Loren Hibbs. “You have to give N.C. State credit. We need to be better than next time we play. We have to clean a lot of things up. We still have a pretty decent team, but we need to get back to having attention to detail.
