Charlotte, N.C. – The 49ers won all nine of the singles and doubles matches, as the Charlotte 49ers (12-5) defeated Lenoir-Rhyne (5-14), 7-0, on senior day for their sixth straight win. Prior to the game, the 49ers honored seniors Vikram Hundal and Jordi Massalle Ferrer who were playing in their final match at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
“Senior day is always bittersweet,” Charlotte coach Jesse Tarr said. “We feel very fortunate to have had Vikram and Jordi as members of our program. They embody what being a student-athlete is all about. Today was another good day for us.
