Vancouver, British Columbia – Behind three double-figure scorers led by Braxton Ogbueze's 23 points, the Charlotte 49ers began their Canada trip with an 89-71 win over the University of British Columbia.
Ogbueze connected on four three-point field goals en route to his 23 points. Jon Davis scored 21 points while connecting on three three-point field goals. Quinton Jackson scored 13 points off the bench while dishing out four assists. JC Washington nearly recorded a double-double with a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with seven points. Anthony Vanhook added seven points.
