GREENVILLE, S.C. – Charlotte Volleyball opens its 2024 season on Friday at the Furman Invitational in Greenville, S.C., where the 49ers have a three-game slate over the weekend. On Friday, the Green and White take on UTRGV at 10 a.m. followed by Charleston Southern at 4:30 p.m. The 49ers wrap up the weekend on Saturday against host Furman at 1:00 p.m.

Lara Kretschmer was named to the preseason All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) team earlier this week. A graduate student from Berlin, Germany, she led Charlotte in points (380.
