CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte continues to set the gold standard academically, placing 242 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, while 74 were recognized for receiving the Commissioner's Academic Medal, second-most in C-USA.
Student-athletes are named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Academic Medals are given to those who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
All of Charlotte's 18 sports were represented by 242 student-athletes for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, just four shy of the leader FIU.
Each member of the softball (18), volleyball (16) and women's golf (7) teams were named to the honor roll, while women's soccer landed 28-of-29 and women's tennis had 9-of-10 receive the honor.
