CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Backed by a five-run response in the bottom of the third, the 21st-ranked Charlotte baseball team picked up a 6-2 victory over UTSA in Conference USA action Friday night. The win marks the ninth-straight for Charlotte, moving into a tie for third-best all-time, while moving to 4-0 on C-USA Friday nights.
"It was a great team win," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "There's a lot of names in the box score tonight and production from all facets of the lineup at various phrases. We executed a lot of fundamental baseball tonight and it's a great way to start the weekend.
