CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball, backing up their #19 ranking nationally, used a five-run inning in game one followed by a Matt Brooks complete game two-hitter in game two to sweep a Sunday double dip from #20 Old Dominion taking three-of-four in the weekend series.
"Today was one of our most complete days at the stadium," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "I'm really proud of the offense. We had big swings of the bat up and down the order. Lindsey just battled relentlessly against one of the best lineups in Conference USA, if not the country and I thought Brooks was one of the best pitching performances I've seen in my 10 years of coaching.
