CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A pair of seniors led the way on Sunday afternoon as Nick Turnbull's four innings of no-hit action out of the bullpen and Carson Johnson's two-hit, two-RBI afternoon sent 19th-ranked Charlotte to a 6-3 victory over Marshall finishing off the four-game series sweep.
"All facets of our game were better than the previous three and from the coaching side of things, I felt like today was our most complete," remarked Head Coach Robert Woodard. "That's always really encouraging over the course of the weekend. To see our team increase their level of play over the weekend, I'm excited to carry that into the new week.
