NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the first time in the short history of the Charlotte women's golf program, the 49ers brought home their first team title winning the Yale Invitational by four shots on Sunday afternoon. The Niners rolled the field in the final round with a four-under 280 to win the championship.
"What a comeback," exclaimed Head Coach Holly Clark. "The girls fought hard yesterday and today after digging themselves a big hole on day one. We got a few putts to fall for us today which were much needed.
