CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team compiled 25 runs on 25 hits over the course of two games on Saturday taking 13-2 and 12-2 victories over Rider inside Hayes Stadium. The Niners also got through the afternoon by needing just two innings of bullpen relief thanks to starters Zach Flanagan and Josh Maciejewski. The 49ers did so in front of 1,045 fans on Saturday, which marked their fourth home date of five drawing over 1,000 fans inside Hayes Stadium.
"Flanagan got us off to a good start in game one and we were extremely aggressive early," began Head Coach Loren Hibbs.
