MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Four Central Michigan student-athletes were named Academic All-Mid-American Conference wrestling team.
To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.2 or better grade point average and appear in at least 50 percent of his team’s games. True freshman and first-year transfers are ineligible.
The four Chippewas named to the squad, with year, hometown, GPA and major:
• Jordan Atienza, sophomore, Livonia, 3.26, finance.
• Zach Horan, senior, Nazareth, Pa., 3.85, master of science in administration.
• Corey Keener, junior, Schuylkill Haven, Pa.
