MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Tough nonconference. Tough in the conference. Tough any way you cut it.
“Central Michigan women’s basketball players wouldn’t want it any other way,” coach Sue Guevara said on Wednesday as the Chippewas unveiled the 2018-19 schedule.
There will be no nights off as the Chippewas defend their Mid-American Conference regular-season and tournament titles, and set their sights on matching the excitement they created last March in reaching the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history and winning a program-record 30 games.
