Central Michigan women’s basketball dominated Toledo from the opening tip for their 12th consecutive victory.
The Chippewas (20-3, 12-0 MAC) defeated the Rockets (15-10, 6-7 MAC) 85-47 at McGuirk Arena on Saturday.
CMU head coach Sue Guevara was pleased with today’s performance but remains hungry going forward.
“We are always going to try and chase perfection,” Guevara said. “I was happy with our defensive effort and I was with the way we were able to get the ball inside.”
The seniors set the tempo early for Central Michigan. Cassie Breen and Tinara Moore scored the first 15 points of the game giving the Chippewas a 15-5 lead midway through the first quarter.
